Ballan enjoyed a breakout rookie season a year ago, but it was a campaign that ended in heartbreak. The sophomore centreback accepted a new role this season, and only got better as the season rolled along. The result couldn’t have been scripted any better, as Ballan and the Bobcats captured the program’s first banner since 2017. Ballan was named tournament MVP for her efforts and CCAA Athlete of the Week.  Ballan and the Bobcat women’s soccer team is now off to nationals for the first time in program history.
