Earl Thompson Jr. has been the model of consistency when his team needed it the most. The Henderson, Nevada product has put up big numbers in different categories, proving his ability to be effective in all areas of the game. Since the semester break, Thompson has averaged 19.1 points per game and 7.5 rebounds per game, which is in line with his season average of 16.2 points per game and 8.2 rebounds per game. His season averages rank him among conference leaders in both categories.
 
The import combo guard/forward started the month with a career high 30 points on January 7 against Winnipeg. He continued his torrid pace by recording double-doubles on January 22 and 29, giving him five double-doubles on the season.
 
Thompson put up an impressive 24 points and 10 rebounds last Friday, guiding the Bobcats to their first conference win of the season in a hostile environment, as BU beat Trinity Western 98-87 in Langley.
