Bobcat women's volleyball team earns split with Alberta

The #3 Alberta Pandas exacted some revenge over the Brandon Bobcats Saturday night, as the Pandas bounced back from Friday night's loss with a 3-1 (23-25, 25-15, 25-15, 25-16) win over the host Bobcats.
Krista Zubick had a match-high 16 kills for the Pandas, who now improve to 12-4 on the season. Jaki Ellis finished with 10 kills, 10 digs, and 29 assists.
The Bobcats were led by third-year outside hitter Tori Dakin, who finished with 13 kills to go along with eight digs. Fourth-year setter Kellie Baker had a match-high 38 assists, while rookie libero Kendra Bommersbach had a team-high 11 digs. The loss drops the Bobcats record to 6-10.
Up next for the Bobcats is a weekend road series against the Saskatchewan Huskies, while the Pandas will welcome the University of Winnipeg Wesmen.
