Men's volleyball team can't hold off Huskies

Box Score SASKATOON - The Brandon Bobcats men's volleyball team lost 3-0 (29-27, 25-13, 25-22) to the host Saskatchewan Huskies.

The Bobcats were led by Sam Tuivai who finished the contest with 11 kills. Right-side Roy Ching had 10 kills. Scott Neufeld had a match-high 12 digs.

With the win the Huskies improve to 12-6, and are guaranteed a spot in the Canada West playoff for the first time since the 2006-07 season. The Bobcats are now mired in the worst losing streak they've seen all season, having lost four in a row and five of their last six. The 'Cats now sit with a record of 10-8.

The Bobcats will go back to work next weekend as they welcome the UBC Thunderbirds to the HLC in what will be the final regular season home games for the Bobcats this year.

The Huskies will play in a home-and-home series aginst the Regina Cougars.
