Box Score The Bobcats women's volleyball team made it a clean sweep to kick-off the 2013-14 Canada West regular season with a 3-1 (25-21, 18-25, 25-18, 25-13) win over the Regina Cougars Saturday night at Brandon University's Healthy Living Centre.

In the fourth set, the 'Cats put up 11 straight points to force match-point before a kill by the Cougars' Chelsea Zialkowski put a stop to the bleeding, but it didn't last long as Tori Glynn promptly put her serve into the net to give Brandon the point and the match.

Shanlee McLennan put up a match-high 16 kills for the Bobcats to go along with four aces.
Kellie Baker wasn't far behind with three aces to go along with a match-high 38 assists.

Donata Huebert finished with 13 digs.

Desiree Ates led the Cougars for the second straight night with 13 kills, while Michelle Sweeting put up 11 kills.

The win improves the Bobcats record to 2-0, while the Cougars fall to 0-2.

Up next for Brandon is a weekend road-trip to Edmonton to play the Alberta Pandas, while Regina will travel back to Manitoba, this time to take on the Winnipeg Wesmen.
