Bobcats outlast Huskies in five-set thriller

Box Score BRANDON - Bobcats outlast Huskies in a five-set match to end the first-half of the season on a high note, winning 3-2 (21-25, 25-17, 25-21, 16-25, 15-12). With the win Brandon improves to 7-5, while Saskatchewan falls to 4-8.
 
Sam Tuivai led the attack for the Bobcats contributing 20 kills, nine digs, and five blocks. First-year middle Ty Moorman added nine kills and seven blocks for the 'Cats, with Roy Ching chipping in with eight kills, 14 digs, and three blocks. 
 
Jordan Nowakowski led Saskatchewan's attack with 23 kills, eight digs, and three blocks. Paul Thompson added 14 kills and 15 digs, while setter Emory Wells notched 61 assists for the Huskies.
 
Tonight's contest concludes the first-half of the Canada West regular season for both teams. Brandon will resume in the new year with road games against Thompson Rivers and UBC-Okanagan, while the Huskies will welcome the Winnipeg Wesmen.
