Box Score BRANDON - The Brandon Bobcats lost in five to the visiting Saskatchewan Huskies (27-25, 22-25, 28-26, 19-25, 11-15) Saturday night to close out the first-half of the Canada West regular season.
 
Brandon was led by Shanlee McLennan's 15 kills, 13 digs, and two blocks for the Bobcats.  Meaghan Robertson added 10 kills and four blocks, with Victoria Dakin contributing nine kills and seven digs.
 
Anne Hanbidge had 13 kills, 16 digs, and one service ace to lead the way for the Huskies.  Emmalyn Copping chipped in with 12 kills, 14 digs, and two blocks in the Huskies victory, with Candace Hueser adding 12 kills and 10 digs. 
 
The win improves Saskatchewan's record to 5-7. Brandon sits with a record of 9-3.
 
Both teams now enter the holiday break and will resume league play in the new year.
