Women's volleyball team can't cool down the Heat

Box Score BRANDON – The UBC-Okanagan Heat earned a Canada West Final Four berth after beating the Brandon University Bobcats 3-1(29-31, 25-18, 25-23, 25-19) Friday night.
 
The Heat won the series 2-0 after a straight sets win Thursday.
 
Five Heat finished in double-digit digs, led by Megan Festival's team-high 19.
 
Brianna Beamish notched 17 kills and 15 digs. Festival also added 15 kills and three blocks. Katy Klomps added 11 kills and eight blocks.
 
Shanlee McLennan put up a double-double, finishing with 10 kills and 13 digs. Meaghan Robertson added nine kills and four blocks. Libero Donata Huebert notched a match-high 26 digs, while Kellie Baker put up 36 assists playing her final match after five stellar seasons as a Bobcat.
 
The Heat will move on to the Canada West Final Four next weekend in Vancouver.
