The Bobcats men's volleyball team exacted some revenge Sunday morning in Brandon by beating the visiting UNB Varsity Reds in the pre-season tournament final 3-1 (21-25, 25-20, 25-15, 25-18).

The 'Cats stumbled out of the gate in the tournament opener, falling to UNB 3-1, but Sunday was a much different story. The two teams traded blows through-out the first set, before BU settled in and came away with the last three sets efficiently.

Winnipeg won the bronze medal match, making quick work of the Medicine Hat College Rattlers 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-23).

The next pre-season action for the Bobcats comes Wednesday evening as BU will play a rare Wednesday exhibition game on the road against the University of Winnipeg.

Next weekend the Bobcats travel to Regina for a pre-season exhibition tournament hosted by the U of R Cougars.
