The Spartans struggled from the service line, recording 21 service errors, but it didn't seem to matter as the potent offense got the job done to even the weekend series.

Scott Plocktis put up 17 kills while only recording three errors, while Blake Scheerhorn had 12 kills to go with nine digs. Third-year setter Devyn Plett had a match-high 46 assists while fifth-year libero had a match-high 14 digs in the win.
