BRANDON, Man. – The Lethbridge Pronghorns' high-scoring duo of Jessica Haenni and Haily Weaver were as advertised Friday night, as the 'Horns rolled to a 82-52 win over the Brandon Bobcats.
Haenni had a game-high 18 points and Weaver finished with a double-double, registering 16 points and 11 rebounds in the win, which snapped a three-game losing streak.
Abby Graves also finished with 11 boards for the Pronghorns while Kyra Collier shot 50 per cent from the floor for 17 points.
The Bobcats were led by the backcourt duo of
Chelsea Misskey and Piper Ingalls once again, as Misskey finished with a team-high 16 points and Ingall had 13.
The win improves the Pronghorns' record to 2-3 while the Bobcats remain winless at 0-5.
The two teams will meet again Saturday afternoon in Brandon to conclude the weekend series.
