Back-to-back service aces in overtime of the second set put the breaks on Team Canada's comeback attempt on Friday night.

The Canadian squad fell 3-0 (25-23, 26-24, 25-23) versus the Dominican Republic at the NORCECA Final Six eliminating them from medal contention.

Tom Friesen had 13 kills and Kingston Thomas added 11 digs for the BU men's volleyball team.

The Bobcats earned the right to represent the country after winning the U SPORTS national championship in March.

BU plays on the consolation side Sunday to conclude the international tournament.
