The Manitoba Bisons defeated their provincial rivals the Brandon University Bobcats 77-50 in the late game at the 2012 Pembina Chrysler Men's Basketball Tournament at the Duckworth Centre Friday night.
Davidson Joseph led Manitoba with a game high 15 points, including a pair of three pointers. Kevin Oliver finished with 11 points.
A,M. Benabdelhak led the Bobcats with 12 points.
Turell Scott was next with 11.
Jordan Reaves hauled down eight rebounds.
Manitoba led at halftime 31-22 and put the game out of reach in the second half, outscoring the Bobcats 46-28 to make the final tally 77-50.
Brandon will face the hometown Wesmen in the early game Saturday night at 6:00 p.m. Manitoba will face Jamestown at 8:00 p.m.
