Box Score EDMONTON - The Brandon University Bobcats men's basketball team fell 81-67 to the #10 nationally ranked Alberta Golden Bears to start the 2012-13 regular season.

The Bobcats fell behind right out of the gates as the Bears jumped to an early 8-1 lead. The Bobcats persevered though, and battled back to lead at two different times in the game.

Kenonte Ramsey continued his impressive perfomance since joining the Bobcats, finishing with a team-high 18 points. Jordan Reaves finished with 15 points on 6 of 7 shooting, while Ali-Mounir Benabdelhak finished with 14 points.

The Bears proved to be too much though, thanks in large part to solid performances by Kenneth Otieno (20 points, 11 rebounds) and Sahr Saffa (19 points). Todd Bergen-Henengouwen and Adam Weir both also finished in double-digit scoring with 10 points.

The two teams meet again Saturday in Edmonton.
