WINNIPEG - The Bobcats men's basketball team dropped their first game of the 2012 Wesmen Classic at the University of Winnipeg to Dickinson State (N.D.) 75-72.

Jordan Reaves led the 'Cats with 22 points and 12 rebounds, including a nice one-handed slam dunk in the first half.

Kenonte Ramsey added 13 points. Guard Ilarion Bonhomme finished with 12 points and nine assist.

The two teams were dead even at 30-30 at halftime and after the Bobcats outscored the Bluehawks 28-23 in the third quarter, Brandon carried a 58-53 lead into the final quarter. The Bobcats led for a majority of the final quarter but a late 8-0 run by Dickinson State carried them to a 75-72 victory.

The 'Cats second game of the tourney will be Saturday, Dec. 29 as they play UNBC in the consolation semi-final at 12:00 pm.
