Men's basketball team drops heart-breaker to UBC

Box Score BRANDON - A last-second buzzer-beater attempt by Emerick Ravier bounced off the front of the rim as time expired, ending the Brandon Bobcats hopes of picking up their first win of the season Saturday night, as the UBC Thunderbirds fought to a 76-74 win.

Five T-Birds finished in double-digit scoring, led by Jordan Jensen-Whyte's team-high 18 points. David Wagner contributed 17 points, while Jackson, Tommy Nixon, and Andrew McGuinness all put up 11 points. Nixon also finished with a game-high 13 rebounds.
