Men's basketball extends win streak to four

Box Score BRANDON – The Brandon Bobcats picked up a big 89-73 win over the Manitoba Bisons Friday night, extending the 'Cats winning streak to four games.
 
Five Bobcats finished in double-digit scoring, led by sophomore forward Turell Scott's game-high 18 points which came in just 18 minutes of play. The Port Coquitlam, BC product hit four of six three-pointers, which included three in a row late in the first half.
 
Fifth-year guard Emerick Ravier contributed 17 points, while guards Ilarion Bonhomme and Kenonte Ramsey each put up 16 points and forward Ali-Mounir Benabdelhak finished the contest with 14 points.
 
The Bisons were led by Andre Arruda's game-high 19 points, while Justus Alleyn chipped in 14 points, Dan Penner put up 11 points and Amarjit Basi added 10 points.
 
The win improves Brandon's record to 5-8, while Manitoba falls to 1-12.
 
The two teams will meet again in the second-half of the weekend series Saturday night in Brandon. Game time is 7:00 pm.
