The Bobcats Basketball Academy returns this January and promises to provide more great basketball instruction and fun to local young hoopsters.

The goal of the Bobcats Basketball Academy 'HOOPS" is to develop basketball skills through game play in an enthusiastic and fun environment.

We have sessions for youth in grades K-8.

Participants will be grouped by grade (age) and will receive instruction from U SPORTS coaches, U SPORTS athletes and nationally certified coaches.

Times for each age group being offered and registration information are as follows:

Co-ed grade K/2 – 12:00 –1:00pm



Co-ed Grade 3/4 – 1:00  – 2:00pm




Boys Grade 5/7 – 2:00  – 3:00pm




Boys Grade 7/8 – 3:00 – 4:00pm




Girls Grades 5/7 – 4:00 – 5:00pm




Girls Grades 7/8 – 4:00 – 5:00pm




Training sessions will primarily include skill development through team play and age-appropriate competition. 
 
Each session will include a 15 minute warm up including skill development, and 3 - 12 minute long games coached, refereed and facilitated by U SPORTS coaches and players.

All participants and visitors to the Healthy Living Centre are required to provide proof of vaccination status prior to entering the facility each day.
