Ashley Creighton transferred to her hometown Brandon University after spending two seasons with the University of Pittsburgh Panthers. At the time of her transfer, the Bobcats had just completed their first season as a CIS program and experienced the usual growing pains a new program goes through.

Creighton helped to change that, as the 6-foot-3 middle made an immediate impact, becoming one of the conference leaders in blocks in her first season at Brandon.

By the end of her third year she had helped complete the program's transformation, leading the Bobcats to a 12-8 season  after going 3-17 the year before she arrived. Often times Creighton would shoulder the load on offense as well as putting up numerous blocks at the net.

Creighton set school records that still stand today, including the most kills in a single match with 21 kills against provincial rival Manitoba in November of 2008.

In her final year, the Crocus Plains graduate was named a Canada West second team all-star.

Upon completing her volleyball career at BU, Creighton enrolled with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Academy, where she completed training and has been serving as an officer since 2012.
