Patrick Jebbison is one of the all-time greats to wear Brandon University Bobcat blue and gold and his legacy is cemented as a legendary athlete in the province with his induction into the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame.

He was a standout player at Martin Grove Collegiate in Etobicoke, Ontario before being recruited by legendary Bobcat coach Jerry Hemmings to join the BU men's basketball program.

Jebbison played five seasons from 1984 to 1989 and was a model of consistency.

He was selected to the Great Plains Athletic Conference all-rookie team in 1984-85 and followed that by being named a GPAC second-team all-star in 1985-86.

Jebbison played an integral part in BU making history in 1986-87 as the Bobcats captured their first-ever national championship. He was Brandon's co-MVP and led GPAC with a 64 percent field goal percentage.

He garnered glowing accolades in 1987-88 after averaging 18.8 points and 6.3 rebounds per-game. He was GPAC player of the year; a first-team all-Canadian and national player of the year. Jebbison rose to the occasion at the national championship as BU defended the title and Jebbison was a tournament all-star.

Jebbison's fifth and final season saw him average 20.9 points per-game. He was GPAC MVP, a first-team all-Canadian and earned the prestigious Mike Moser award again as the best player in the country.

He was a tournament all-star at nationals and had an iconic moment in his final game as a BU basketball player. Jebbison made a key blocked shot with six seconds to go to guide BU to a 74-73 victory over the Victoria Vikes for the Bobcats' third straight gold medal.

Jebbison was enshrined into the Brandon University Sports Wall of Fame in 1998, the Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame in 2005 and the Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame in 2022.
