Brandon University Dick and Verda McDonald Sports Wall of Fame
To opposing basketball coaches, no one made the perimeter shot better than Jude Kelly.
Jude arrived at Brandon University in 1979 after spending one season as a member of the Prince Edward Island University Panthers. Jude played for the Bobcats from 1979 through 1983.
While a member of the Bobcats, Jude earned All-Canadian honours in 1982 and 1983. Jude was also named Great Plains Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 1982 and 1983. Over four years, Jude scored more than 3,000 points.
Jude was also the winner of the prestigious Jim Casey Memorial Award, presented annually to the Brandon University athlete best exemplifying the qualities of abilities and sportsmanship.
