Joey was one of the most exciting Point Guards ever to wear a Bobcat basketball uniform. The product of Winnipeg starred for the Bobcats from 1989-1991.
During this time he was decorated with many awards including: BU’s R.J McCathy Trophy, Outstanding male Athlete, 1989-90
1989-90, 1990-91, First Team All-Canadian
1989-90, CIS/CIAU Final 8- Tournament All-Star
1988-89, GPAC First Team All-Star
He also represented Canada on the Canadian National team at two World Championships and two World University Games.
Joey started his professional career in Europe in 1995 and has played in Lithuania, Spain, Lebanon, France and Austria.
Another highlight in Joey’s career was being included into the Manitoba Basketball Hall of Fame in 2005.
