Keith Streiter was one of the most bruising forwards to ever don the blue and gold uniform. Keith arrived at Brandon University in 1977 after playing one year with the Prince Edward Island University Panthers. Keith played for the Bobcats from 1978 to 1980 and the second-half of the 1982-83 season.
 
While a member of the Bobcats, Keith earned All-Canadian honours in the 1978-79 and 1979-80 seasons. Keith was also a three-time Great Plains Athletic Conference All-Star during his tenure as a Bobcat. Keith led the Bobcats to their first national championship appearance in the 1979-80 season.
