In the 1979-80 season, the Bobcats won their first GPAC championship and went to the National Finals against the Victoria Vikes.
Â
During the 79-80 season, Fabulous Fred Lee accumulated 998 points. He scored in double figures in each of the 43 games that he played for an amazing 24.3 point average.
