Brandon University Dick and Verda McDonald Sports Wall of Fame
Jim Ferguson was a member of the Brandon University Bobcats during the era of Bobcat excellence. A defenceman from 1972-76, Ferguson was a member of the Bobcats who won their first GPAC championship in the 1973-74 season. The Bobcats repeated as conference champions in 1974-75.

After graduating from Brandon University he taught in Snow Lake for three yeas before moving back to Brandon to accept a teaching/guidance counsellor position at Crocus Plains where he has also been a part of the Plainsmen hockey program.
