Brandon University Athletics

Doug Clark coached the Brandon College Caps from 1956-64. With a soft-spoken manner, he was especially adept at grooming young players.
 
Clark was instrumental in providing new direction to the College Cap hockey program as he worked towards having the team re-join the Western Canadian Intercollegiate Athletics Union (WCIAU) in 1956-57.
 
As coach, he led many successful teams in both the WCIAU and the Southwest Hockey League.
