Brandon University Athletics

Dr. E.J. 'Curly' Tyler came to Brandon College in 1946 to develop a Psychology Department within the University. His hockey involvement began as Business Manager at Brandon College. He also served on the Big Six Hockey League executive during the years the College Caps played in that league and was president of the MAHA in the early 1950’s.
 
Aside from hockey, he headed the Psychology Department and was named Professor Emeritus. In the mid 1980’s he served as Acting President of Brandon University.
