Brandon University Athletics

Brandon University and Brandon College Athletics have had various Halls of Fame since the school's inception in 1899. Now that the Bobcats are in their new home, a permanent shrine has been established to recognize the accomplishments of all athletes that have represented the institution.

The purpose of the Wall of Fame is to formally recognize outstanding achievements and contributions made by individuals and teams to the Brandon University and Brandon College Caps / Capettes Athletic Program. BU Athletic Alumni whom have demonstrated significant leadership qualities in their respective communities and / or professions may also be honoured by induction into the Wall of Fame. The Wall of Fame celebration has evolved from the former Brandon University Hockey Hall of Fame and the Brandon University Men’s Basketball Hall of Fame.

The first induction of the unified Brandon University Sports Wall of Fame took place in 2006, as a way of honouring players, coaches and builders who helped shape the athletic program at Brandon University.

The goal of the unified Sports Wall of Fame was to honour and recognize team and individual accomplishments of all Brandon University and Brandon College athletes dating back to the institution's inception in 1899.

Prior to 2006 individual sports had their own hall of fame ceremonies, which will also have a permanent location in the Healthy Living Centre.
